This elegantly original coffee table has been lovingly handmade by talented young designer, Ali Chapkin. The inspiration for the piece comes mainly from her travels in Central America and from the Mexican colour palette, as well as her research into developing highly exaggerated curves through the use of veneers. The Concertina coffee table comprises of multiple curved, coloured veneers, which are laminated around a tight curve and which concertina together. The curved segments have been injected with layers of opaque and clear resins to form a decorative tabletop. This is a one-off piece and measures approximately 58 cm across x 43 cm high.
