This elegantly original lampshade has been lovingly handmade by talented young designer, Ali Chapkin. The inspiration for the piece comes mainly from her travels in Central America, as well as her research into developing highly exaggerated curves through the use of veneers. The shade features hand drawn Mexican patterns, which are laser cut into segments of walnut veneer. The shade is brought to life with its bio-friendly jesmonite (plastic) top and fixtures. The lamp measures approximately 44cm across and comes either fully fitted and ready for use, or as the shade alone.
