Bird in vintage tin curiosity box

Unique handmade curiosity box by StyleCurious featured Blue. Made using found objects that are recycled to create what Blue calls her Die-a-ramas, this one is housed in a vintage floral tin from one of her favourite shops in Shoreditch. She was then inspired to add a postcard featuring work by her favourite artist, Mark Ryden, to whom this piece is a tribute. The tin measures 13 cm wide x 18.5 cm high x 8 cm deep.

I love anything glittery and was instantly attracted to these sparkly curiosities. I like the eclectic mix of quirky bits and pieces used to create Blue’s arty collages – and the fact that each one tells a story. These are great as colourful home accessories, but the smaller ones would make really unique and unusual gifts – perhaps for a friend with a taste for original things, or someone who’s a collector of quirky curiosities.
