Unique handmade curiosity box by StyleCurious featured Blue. Made using found objects that are recycled to create what Blue calls her Die-a-ramas. This one is housed in a black wooden frame and represents all that is hopeful and glorious, with a Madonna style Saint wrapped in blue robes, together with jewels and good luck charms such as a horseshoe from Mexico, a quarter in a cork, rosary beads and a skull from Bali. The measurements are 20.5 cm x 31 cm x 8 cm deep.

I love anything glittery and was instantly attracted to these sparkly curiosities. I like the eclectic mix of quirky bits and pieces used to create Blue’s arty collages – and the fact that each one tells a story. These are great as colourful home accessories, but the smaller ones would make really unique and unusual gifts – perhaps for a friend with a taste for original things, or someone who’s a collector of quirky curiosities.
