Unique handmade curiosity box by StyleCurious featured Blue. Made using found objects that are recycled to create what Blue calls her Die-a-ramas, this one is housed in a black wooden frame and features The Munsters (curiously gothic characters from a 1960s American comedy series). This is one of Blue’s all time favourite TV shows. When she lived in the States, Blue found lots of Herman and Grandpa Munster statues, which she’s used in this framed box, together with miniature skeletons sourced in Mexico. The box measures 20 cm high x 31 cm wide x 8 cm deep.

I love anything glittery and was instantly attracted to these sparkly curiosities. I like the eclectic mix of quirky bits and pieces used to create Blue’s arty collages – and the fact that each one tells a story. These are great as colourful home accessories, but the smaller ones would make really unique and unusual gifts – perhaps for a friend with a taste for original things, or someone who’s a collector of quirky curiosities.
