The fabrics used are always of the highest quality, with attention to detail in the finishing and embellishment. Designer Desiree Mejer is brilliant at incorporating the latest trends into her collections and creating smart casual styles that work from day through to night. I’m not surprised Fake has acquired something of a cult following – it’s become more of a lifestyle statement than a label. The Fake London label reads ‘Made with England in mind’, as the eponymous brand is now manufactured in locations around the world, including Italy and China - which makes the Fake monniker all the more amusing.
