One of our sought after selection of vintage classic scarves. This one dates from 1989 - and was made to commemorate the bicentenary of the French Revolution. Can be tied in the hair, over the head, around your handbag, as a necktie - or in a multitude of other ways (you can even create your own bag or a flattering halter neck top!)

Think of all the icons who have worn classic scarves like these - from Jackie Onassis and Princess Margaret, through to Margaret Thatcher and Princess Diana. These scarves are the ultimate in traditional uptown chic and will never lose their intrinsic value - that's why those curiously clever yuppies nicked the idea from shy but chi chi Sloanes in the first place. Best bag a smidgen of your heritage whilst it's still available.
