Kacper Hamilton
Seven deadly glasses - limited edition with case
Price £6,800.00
One of a special limited edition of only 8 sets of seven deadly glasses, finished in a precious metal, with rosewood display case by StyleCurious featured designer, Kacper Hamilton. These wine glasses encourage the user to celebrate passion by drinking wine in a sinful and theatrical fashion. The glasses are intended to be used for drinking red wine as this has a deep history in philosophy and religion as being the blood of Christ, whilst simultaneously being associated with indulgence and sophistication. Each of the glasses represents one of the seven deadly sins – these being:
Wrath (100mm wide x 330 mm high x 100 mm) is to be drunk in a subtle manner from the point of the glass and then fired into the mouth in a spontaneous action.
Envy (120 mm wide x 260 mm high x 120 mm) is a glass where the wine can be seen and smelt, but not drunk as it will spill - increasing ones jealousy towards those who are able to drink.
Gluttony (118 mm wide x 244 mm high x 144 mm) is a glass for those who like to feast with no shame.
Greed (200 mm wide x 216 mm high x 200 mm) is a glass for those who will get extra no matter what – they will suck the glass dry and try to get every last drop.
Lust (136 mm wide x 193 mm high x 136 mm) is a glass to excite, with the delicate and sensual feeding of wine through a glass ball.
Pride (110 mm wide x 600 mm high x 110 mm) is a glass that’s tall and pompous – so use this to drink your finest red wine.
Sloth (150 mm wide x 400 mm high x 150 mm) is a glass that hangs from above so the wine is slowly dripped into the reclining person’s mouth.
The glasses are made from locally sourced borosilicate glass and are handmade by craftsmen in London, England. The display case is handmade in London, England from rosewood with silk and velvet lining, brass fittings and a reinforced glass cover. In addition to its practical use, the display case acts as a symbolic sarcophagus for the wine glasses. Please allow 4-5 weeks for delivery.
