The cover of this notebook features artwork by Laurel Burch, a Southern Californian artist who died in 2007. Entitled Soul and Tears, the picture is a rare self portrait painted in 1999 and inside the book are the words 'The soul would have no rainbow if the eyes had no tears'. Laurel herself had traumatic life, but managed to escape through creating her own world of mythical people and animals, as depicted in her colourful art. Dimensions: 13 cm x 18 cm, 160 pages.
