1920s Egyptian revival coral red glass necklace

Unusual glass pendant, carved on both sides with Egyptian design featuring pharaoh on bead necklace with scarabs. Mid-1920s ‘Egyptian revival’ Czechoslovakian glass. This necklace is in original condition – with bright red glass and some green markings. Measures 50 cm long including pendant, which is 5 x 3.5 cm. Very good vintage condition.

Totally unique and curiously characterful necklace that tells its own story of times in ancient Egypt. Apparently this type of jewellery became very popular after the discovery of Tutenkahmun’s tomb in Egypt. Perfect to add to a collection of Egyptian memorabilia, or for any lover of unique accessories.
