1920s jet beaded long evening dress

Heavily beaded silk chiffon long black evening dress with lacy modesty panel insert and inner lining. Features draping to the front and rear, plus an unusual tie detail – shown here tied to the front of the dress, but could also be tied to the rear or the side, or left un-tied. Measures approximately 150 cm long from the top of the shoulder to the base of the rear hem. Although very fragile due to the weight of the beading, this dress is in very good vintage condition, with the exception of one small tear to the fabric - perhaps evidence of past adventures.
