1940s black crepe dress with studded silver swirl design

Classic 1940s style black fine crepe dress with ruched detail and bow to waist and unusual studded silver swirl design. Characteristic padded shoulders and V-neck style. Approx 108 cm long from rear neckline to hem. Very good vintage condition. Will be very flattering if you are a little more curvy than our size 10 mannequin and perfect for size 12 to small size 14.

There’s a bit of a Dynasty power shoulder pad feel about this dress that would work for day or evening. It’s simple, yet sophisticated and the silver metallic discs that look a little like sequins, but are actually thin studs, are totally unique.
