19th century porcelain mirror with cherubs

Was £1,250.00Now £1,000.00

Curiously charming hand painted antique porcelain mirror with cherubs, delicate flowers and candle holder in the style of Meissen - marked N with crown above. The mirror is in perfect condition and the piece has been backed with felt and comes with hanging wire (or wall mounted as there is a hole at the top rear of the mirror). The mirror is 51.5 cm long and 30 cm wide. One cherub is missing a toe and a small piece of intricate floral decoration is missing, but otherwise this piece is in perfect condition.

This would make a very original wedding gift - or perhaps you know a couple whose 20th (China) wedding anniversary is coming up? If you live in a Victorian house, or a pretty country cottage, perhaps with some French style furnishings, then this mirror will look fab. Perfect for a bedroom, bathroom, or simply somewhere you can keep and admire the beautiful craftmanship and hand painting of this piece. Curiously collectable too.
