Amber bug bangle - green bugs

This quirky bug bangle, as featured in our ShopCurious blog, contains real beetles (these ones are mainly green, but there are a couple which are also greeny blue) set in amber coloured resin. Probably from the1960s, it's definitely a party piece - wear it to be noticed and squirmed at! The internal diameter of the bracelet measures around 6 cm and it's approximately 4 cm wide.The diameter across the whole bracelet is 10 cm - fairly chunky but not too clunky.

A rare piece of bug art for your arm, this is one of a small collection that belonged to an eccentric American lady. She had the bangles made in a selection of colours, featuring a variety of types of bug (!) to go with different outfits. The bangle is an original and the bugs are set in a deep/rich coloured resin that is in no way matched by cheaper modern lucite imitations. Each bracelet is totally unique and never ceases to create a stir - or at least a conversation, wherever you wear it.
