Jade and silk thread necklace

Fine vintage jade pendant - probably from the 1920s with silk string, tassels and jade beads. The necklace measures 50 cm long including the tassels and the pendant is 6 cm wide (at the widest part) and also 6 cm long.

Curiously charming necklace - very simple and delicate, with a beautifully carved pendant that is cool to the touch (I love that about jade). I imagine that Zelda Fitzgerald would have worn something like this!
