Oblong beaded vintage bag with roses

Rather autumnal coloured 1950s vintage bag, which is intricately beaded on a tapestry fabric base. The bag is marked Soure New York and is linked to the Caron brand that was fashionable at this time. The interior is lined with plastic coated fabric and is in near perfect conditon and there's a lovely lucite handle. Best of all are the delightfully carved gilt roses along the bag closure. Measures 36 cm wide, 18 cm high and 8 cm wide at the base. The handle is 10cm from the bag - making the bag 28 cm high including the handle.

This is a really sophisticated and feminine bag. It will set you apart from the crowd - especially as it's a one off unique accessory that only you will be carrying.
