This curiously characterful book is so charming. The classic prints are sometimes torn out and framed for use on walls. Whilst the framed prints will certainly fetch more than the book itself, I wouldn’t suggest doing this, as the book is an heirloom piece, giving a unique insight into illustrative style and domestic life in the late 19th century. It would make a lovely gift for a newborn child, if it’s not snapped up by a collector.
