Charming natural and black stone box with carved dragon fly motif. Measures 12.7 cm long x 8.7 cm wide x 4.5 cm deep. Handcrafted in Indo-China and delivered in a black bamboo presentation box. Dragonflies are said to be a symbol of the sense of self that comes only with maturity.

Wow! A box with a message. I've also heard that, in Japan for instance, dragonflies can represent new light and joy. They help you see through your illusions and allow your own light to shine towards the truth. Another take on dragonfly symbolism is that, because their beautiful colours are created by the refractive power of light, they are associated with magic and illusion - causing others to see only what they wish.
