Stone box - prosperity

This characterful natural stone box is literally covered in money! The 'piastre' coin (the motif featured on the box) was the French currency of Indo-China between 1885 and 1952. The 'prosperity' box, handcrafted in Indo-China measures 12.7 cm long x 9 cm wide and 5.5 cm deep. Delivered in a handmade black bamboo presentation box.

This is a beautifully hand carved stone box and well worth every penny (or should I say piastre?). The design is timeless even if the currency's now obsolete. I hope it brings you, or whoever you buy this for, much prosperity!
