This rather lovely old fashioned children’s book is full of curious tales, unusual facts and interesting ideas for things to do. There are some beautiful illustrations too, including the ones by Errol Le Cain in his article entitled ‘A Childhood in India’. Puffin’s Pleasure would be perfect as a gift for an inquisitive young person, a collector of retro children’s books, or a kidult who wishes to reminisce.
