What a fabulous boy’s toy! This would make the perfect retro gift for a teenager, or any model enthusiast, collector of vintage children’s toys/retro memorabilia – or just because it’s a curiously fascinating piece of English naval heritage. By the way, Great Britain’s HMS Victory was launched in 1765 and is the oldest commissioned warship. She is most famous for serving as Admiral Nelson’s flagship during the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. HMS Victory is open for tours at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
