Vintage paperweight - midnight flower

Beautiful vintage paperweight – probably from the 1950s or ‘60s – with real flower and corn surround set in midnight blue coloured perspex style resin with hand bevelled edges. Vintage paperweights are fairly rare and difficult to find and this one is in excellent vintage condition. Measures 8 cm diameter x 3.5 cm high.

I love early paperweights as they’re somehow much simpler and prettier in design than later varieties. This one would make a lovely addition to any desk or dressing table, or why not buy this as an unusual gift – it’s sure to be much appreciated. Curiously collectable too.
