Vintage royal commemorative tin - mid blue

One of a selection of tins celebating royal events, each being a unique piece of history. This tin was made to commemorate HM Queen Elizabeth II’s Coronation in 1953. Base of tin reads Biscuits, made in England, Meredith and Drew Limited, London, England. There are a few small scratches, but this is generally in good vintage condition and perfect for use as a container to store pencils, tea bags and the like.

Vintage royal collectibles are curiously British treasures and work especially well with shabby chic style interiors. They also make an amusing addition to any tea party and are great as reasonably priced heritage gifts that can be passed on as heirlooms to future generations.
