This bag is named the 'Marilyn' after Marilyn Monroe and, for those who are impressed by celebrity endorsements, was famously featured in an episode of Sex and the City where it was worn by Carrie Bradshaw. It was also featured in our ShopCurious blog and we are more impressed by the fact that this bag is a curiously cool and fun accessory, that is very well made from natural materals. ShopCurious is currently the only UK stockist of this bag, which comes direct from Beverly Hills. The Marilyn is made from solid (but lightweight) acacia wood and is hand painted. It measures 15 cm high x 14 cm across and 10 cm wide at the base and can be carried as a clutch, or used with the black rope shoulder strap, which is long enough to wear the bag diagonally across the body if desired.
