Original 1970s hand finished silk scarf with painted lady and trademark squiggle/chevron printed design by Zandra Rhodes. Measures approximately 78 x 87 cm. Beautiful shades of peachy cream, powder pink, coral and mint green, edged with beige rolled silk.Very good vintage condition.

This scarf reminds me of a marine painting with coral and shell colours and shapes, as well as the curiously squid-like painted lady. Highly collectable, but wearable too, this scarf would be perfect as either an heirloom investment, or an arty addition to the fashion lover’s wardrobe.
