Animals in fashion
Look out for a profusion of animal inspired clothing and accessories. During the summer months, this may be linked to the tribal trend, with more safari type animals in evidence, as seen in Louis Vuitton’s window display in Paris:
But come the winter months, animal designs will remain be on the exotic side – like Yang Du’s stripy elephant hat and scarf combo – and Minna Parikka’s snake shoes from her ‘women are dangerous animals’ collection.
Vintage animal accessories will also be sought after, like hunting purses, old ski belts and hand carved walking sticks.
