Fierce fetish inspired and warrior style accessories
Fierce, fetishistic and avant garde pieces are usually confined to the shows at London Fashion Week, but for next season it looks as though they’re destined to go mainstream.
From Beyonce’s warrior princess headdress by Erickson Beamon to leather corset belts, studded breastplates and body armour – they were all on display at the buyers’ exhibition for SS 2012.
Una Burke (above top and directly below), Fleet Ilya and James Hock had fetish style leatherwear in their collections:
Charlie le Mindu’s fortified wigs are a curious new addition to the London fashion scene.
The mannequins in the Esthetica section sported positively Pharaohesque headgear.
