An original, rare and curiously collectable Biba Rainbow room tureen serving dish. These were made by Burleigh and date from around 1974, when Big Biba first opened. The dish features a black glaze with gold rim and the rainbow room dancing couple stamped to the centre top. The reverse is blank.
This dish is in great condition with no cracks or damage, just the odd rub mark from use, or glaze mark from production, plus a slight chip on the base which is glazed over.
