This item is now out of stock, but if you're curious, take a look at the Olivetti Valentine red vintage typewriter or the Olympia Traveller De Luxe red and grey vintage typewriter.
Curiously clunky and oozing retro cool, this typewriter will give any home an injection of mid-century modern pizzazz.
Between the years of 1923 and 1963, Hermes was the standard for typewriters in the world. Even today, some writers still prefer the feel of an Hermes. The Simpsons creator Matt Groening, Lonesome Dove author Larry McMurtry, and John Steinbeck all preferred to use an Hermes typewriter. There is simply something about a manual typewriter that speaks to the creative muse in writers.
Supplied in excellent vintage condition, in full working order, with original case, and fitted with a new typewriter ribbon.
