A lovely example of antique needlepoint, this floral tapestry bag was probably made in the 1930s. Sadly now missing its chain strap, the bag is still usable as a clutch and also collectable for its fine quality craft work. With its pretty floral design and hand stitched interior, the bag is well constructed and artfully presented. The metal frame at the top of the bag also features unusual attention to detail in the form of a red and gold enamel motif.
Measuring 6 inches x 7.5 inches (see photos for measurements in cm), the bag is in very good condition and a strap could easily be added, if desired. The same design is featured on each side of the bag.
