A curiously characterful Vallauris tomato pitcher. The bulbous body of the jug is bright red; the handle is in green, and formed by part of the stem, which extends over the top of the jug. The interior is glazed in red. Perfect table or barware for water, tomato juice, or for serving your favourite Bloody Mary.

Marked on the base 'Made In France, Vallauris'. Handmade in Vallauris on the Mediterranean coast of France, this is an unusual and eye-catching piece in lovely vintage condition. There is one chip to the green which has had a previous basic repair as shown in the photos.
